Teak Wonder Brightener 4L

Teak Wonder Brightener is a 4-litre product that serves as the second step in the Teak Wonder teak care system. Its purpose is to restore the natural golden colour of weathered teak wood after it has been cleaned. While the cleaner removes dirt and grey oxidation, the brightener enhances the vibrant colour, making the teak appear "like newly sanded" without actually removing any of the valuable wood. 

The primary function of the brightener is to eliminate any remaining grey or uneven shading that may persist after cleaning, effectively bringing back the natural golden hue of fresh teak. 

The formula is non-aggressive and non-caustic, which makes it generally safe for use around other marine surfaces such as rubber seals, paint, fibreglass, aluminium alloys, and stainless steel fittings. However, it’s still advisable to avoid prolonged contact with these surfaces and to rinse off any splashes immediately.

A significant advantage of using this brightener is that it provides a "newly sanded" appearance without the need for sanding, which can reduce the lifespan of the teak by removing layers. The brightening effect is often described as immediate, with the teak looking clear right after application. 

A 4-litre bottle typically covers approximately 8-10 square metres, depending on the condition of the wood.
