Epifanes Rapidclear

Epifanes Rapidclear is a quick and easy semi-gloss clear UV wood protection that offers excellent protection in all climates. It serves as a convenient alternative to traditional varnish, providing a superior quality finish that protects and enhances marine woods, both indoors and outdoors. This product is formulated with a modified alkyd/urethane resin that creates a UV-protective film, effectively bonding to teak and other oily woods. It prevents discolouration while highlighting the natural grain of the wood. One of its standout features is that no sanding is required between coats, making application straightforward. Rapidclear exhibits excellent weather resistance, flexibility, and durability. It is ideal for renewing weathered areas before applying a varnish system, can be used over most existing finishes, or can serve as a complete system for those seeking a quick and easy semi-gloss finish with maximum durability, UV protection, and longevity.

Degrease bare wood using Epifanes Spray Thinner for Paint and Varnish, and sand it with 220-grit dry abrasive paper. Remove all sanding dust and degrease again. Apply 4-5 coats using a brush, foam brush, roller, or spray.

• Stir well prior to use, so not too thin and allow 5-6 hours between coats
• Sanding between coats is not required
• If top-coated with varnish, sand with 220 grit dry abrasive paper
